Autism-Informed Therapy and Psychological Evaluations in Denver
Therapy That Respects How Your Brain Works
Helping children, teens, and adults gain clearer insight into their experiences while developing practical tools for daily life.

Finding the Right Kind of Support Matters
Families often arrive here after trying to make sense of patterns that feel confusing or exhausting. A child may seem bright and capable but struggle socially or emotionally. A teen may feel overwhelmed by expectations that appear manageable for others. An adult may begin noticing lifelong patterns that were never fully explained.
Understanding what is happening beneath the surface can bring enormous relief. When challenges are understood clearly, support can become more focused, practical, and effective.
This is the work I care deeply about helping families and individuals do.
Care That Begins with Understanding
Hi, I’m Dr. Courtney Paisley, a licensed psychologist specializing in autism-informed therapy and psychological evaluations for children, teens, adults, and families.
Most people who find their way here have been carrying questions for a long time, about why certain things feel harder than they should, or why support in the past hasn’t quite fit. My goal is to create a space where you can talk openly and feel genuinely understood.
I take time to listen carefully and look at the full picture of what you or your child are experiencing. That matters to me, because challenges rarely exist in isolation. If you’ve already worked with other providers, you may have gotten answers about one piece of the puzzle but not how everything connects. Part of what I do is step back, look at the whole person, and help make sense of experiences that may have felt confusing or incomplete until now.
When things are understood clearly, the right kind of support becomes much easier to find. And when the people around someone, family, teachers, and other providers are all working from the same understanding, that’s when real progress becomes possible.

Therapeutic & Assessment Services
Therapy Services
People come to therapy for many different reasons. Sometimes a parent is worried about their child. Other times a teen, young adult, or adult may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure how to move forward.
In our work together, we slow things down and take time to understand what you or your child is experiencing. From there, we focus on building practical skills that support confidence, emotional regulation, and everyday functioning.
I also believe therapy works best when families feel supported as well, so when appropriate, I collaborate with parents and other important people in a child’s life.
I offer therapy for individuals across different stages of life, including:
- Individual Therapy for Teens & Adults
- Autism Therapy for Children
- Autism Therapy for Young Adults
- Autism Therapy for Adults
- Parent Consultation & School Collaboration
Psychological Evaluations
Sometimes families or individuals have been asking the same questions for a long time. You may be wondering whether autism, ADHD, learning differences, or emotional challenges could be part of what you or your child is experiencing.
A comprehensive evaluation can help bring clarity to those questions. My goal isn’t simply to provide a diagnosis, but to understand how someone’s mind works so that the right supports can be put in place moving forward.
Evaluation services include:
- ADHD Testing (Children & Adults)
- Learning Disability & Gifted Evaluations
- Autism Assessments Across the Lifespan
In-Person and Telehealth Therapy Options (PSYPACT Available)
I offer both in-person therapy in Denver and Parker, Colorado, as well as telehealth services for clients who prefer to meet virtually.
Through PSYPACT authorization, I am able to provide telehealth therapy in participating states, making it possible for teens and young adults to receive consistent care even when they move for school or live outside Colorado.
